Area Search Update – Churchfields Recreational Grounds

Officers from the Chessington Safer Neighbourhoods Team conducted an area search of Churchfields Park in line with OP SEPTRE. A reference point search methodology was utilised, focusing on potential hide locations that meet the criteria of being accessible, identifiable both day and night, and transient in nature, in an effort to combat ASB and provide community reassurance in the area.

Searches were carried out around prominent and identifiable features within the park, including:

A small, isolated woodland area located centrally within the park

Park benches

Outdoor gym equipment

Basketball/sports court

Accessible Hedge lines 

Play Park

Additional attention was given to accessible woodland areas where pathways showed signs of recent footfall and disturbance, indicating potential usage.

No items of note were recovered. If you wish to report any crime of ASB from within the park, please report this to the Metropolitan Police online or by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.
